Boop‑oop‑a‑doop! Love is in the air, and so is charity! Fans of the sassy, lovable, and ever-iconic Betty Boop are in for a whimsical treat this Valentine’s Day. On Saturday, February 14, Saturday Morning Cartoons United™ is hosting a special one-night-only charity event at the Bob Baker Marionette Theater, celebrating Betty Boop’s timeless charm — all for a good cause.

The evening promises a playful mix of Saturday-morning nostalgia, romance, and fun, complete with a pop-up shop, puppet show, interactive moments, and a panel discussion with animation luminaries. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and guests can shop exclusive Betty Boop collections by Whatever! Makes You Happy, Overlord Caps and Rockin Pins before the screening begins at 7:00 PM with the independent short Conej Steps Out, by acclaimed Spanish animator Pablo Rio. Following the screening, the panel features Sandy Fox (the voice of Betty Boop), Jane Fleischer, Claire Fleischer, Emmy-winning art director/producer Alex Kirwan, and artist Tara Billinger.

The event combines laughter, love, and a dash of Betty Boop magic, while raising funds for fire relief support for animation professionals. Every ticket and item purchased directly benefits Saturday Morning Cartoons United™, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to celebrating legacy animation and uplifting the creative arts community.

The celebration will take place at the Bob Baker Marionette Theater, located at 4949 York Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90042 , and will run from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and the show starts at 7:00 PM.
